StarTek in Enid to Represent StarTek for Award

StarTek (NYSE:SRT) has selected their Enid Oklahoma call center to represent them in their submission to the 2010 ICMI National Call Center Awards. The International Customer Management Institute (ICMI) provides resources and information to the global contact center industry. The award is given to the call center that excels in contact center operations and customer service. The center must embody a set of criteria including: effective call center management, meets or exceeds key performance objectives, sustains a positive work culture that fosters employee engagement, people management innovation and progressive strategy and brings strategic value to the larger organization.
“This is an honor for our center,” said David Whyburn, site director of the StarTek in Enid. “Just to be considered as the nominee and to represent StarTek is a win for us. We strive to be the best in all areas including customer service and employee management and this just validates our ongoing efforts.”

The award will be presented at the ICMI ACCE Conference and Expo June 14-17, 2010 in New Orleans, LA. The conference is a global gathering for the contact center industry.
