HIGHWAY
Located in North Central Oklahoma, Enid is serviced by four-lane divided US Highways 60, 412, 64 and 81. Interstate 35 is 28 miles east of Enid and extends north to Kansas, Missouri, Iowa and Minnesota and south to Texas. Interstate 40 is 60 miles south of Enid and runs continuously from the east coast to the west coast. The Cimarron Turnpike (US60 and US412) extends from Tulsa and the Arkansas River Navigation System to the Northwest Passage (Oklahoma City to Colorado corridor). The Chisholm Trail (US81) stretches from Kansas to Texas paralleling and providing relief for I-35.
AIR
Enid is served by Enid Woodring Regional Airport, a 700 acre facility located just 5 miles east of downtown. The airport is an all weather, tower controlled, instrument landing facility capable of handling up to Boeing 737 aircraft. The asphalt runway is 6,249 ft. long and 100 ft. wide. Airport services include a restaurant, numerous hanger facilities, avionics maintenance facilities, FAA Repair Stations, air taxi and aircraft rental. An International Shipping and Receiving area will be added in the near future. For other travel opportunities, Enid is located within 125 miles of the Oklahoma City, Tulsa and Wichita airports.
RAIL
Two major rail carriers, Burlington Northern/Santa Fe and Union Pacific, provide effective service to and from Enid, linking the area to the west coast and Pacific Rim as well as to the NAFTA corridor to Mexico. Amtrak passenger service is available from Oklahoma City to the Dallas/Ft. Worth area.
Johnstons Terminal Enid offers direct access to BNSF track/service with reciprocal service from UP. In addition to rail service access we also offer many development sites along track side for material handling, transload facility or co location. Johnston Terminal Enid also offers rail switch with our own locomotive on our own track leased from BNSF.
WATER
Enid has serveral close ties for access to the McClellan-Kerr Arkansas River Navigation System including Tulsa Port of Catoosa, Johnston's Port 33, and Johnston Terminal Muskogee. Tulsa Port of Catoosa is one of the furthest inland black water ports in the US located at the head of navigation for the McClellan-Kerr Arkansas River Navigation System in Northeast Oklahoma. The Tulsa Port of Catoosa offers year round, ice-free barge service with river flow levels controlled by the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers. With worldwide access capabilities, your products can travel easily and efficiently from America's heartland to the rest of the globe. Enid is located only 130 miles west of the port and is connected via the Cimarron Turnpike. The Port of Catoosa is also serviced by the SK&O and BNSF Railways.
Jonston's Port 33 is positioned between Tulsa and Inola in Eastern Oklahoma and is accessible via major highways to service all commodities transported by truck to the Midwest. The Port of Muskogee is 175 miles or three truck hours. The Port of Muskogee is serviced by Union Pacific Railway. Johnston’s Port 33 is 121 miles or two truck hours east of Enid.
