In addition to job growth, Enid has also experienced success on business climate issues such as protecting Vance Air Force Base and improving public schools with passage of a $99 million school bond in 2010. Increasing post-secondary enrollment and seamless education between Autry Technology Center, Northern Oklahoma College and Northwestern Oklahoma State University make Enid a premier training and workforce development center.
